{ooa} | fall

Last night I returned home from my Grandfathers funeral and though a lot of tears were shed, it was BLIZZARDING (yes, I mean SNOW) and to top it off with a really bad head cold…The trip was worth it. Today though is a new day with lots of sun (thanks AZ, I will not complain about the heat again) and new beginnings. So here’s to a new {OOA} on my blog!

The month of October by FAR my favorite months for a few different reasons. One, I was married in Oct, football starts, Halloween is here, walks with the dogs are in full force and ….drum roll please… THE WEATHER COOLS DOWN!!! October has been a SUPER busy month for weddings as well! I shot 5 weddings in 3 weeks…and lived to tell about it:) They were all beautiful and I have one more to finish and blog. I am thankful that they all chose me to document their day! October will be completed with a trip to Florida for a portrait session on the beach and then we will move right into turkey month, which was more good stuff planned!

So since I have been so busy I thought an {ooa} objects of my affection post in in order. I have been locked up in my hole, aka my office, all during the week editing, uploading and blogging…that is until yesterday. I went out to get the mail and the new JCrew had arrived. Normally I admire all the clothing, but this time something struck my fancy…one of the model’s haircuts. So as quick as I could, I dialed up my SUPER fab hair stylist to schedule an appt for this new do. Lucky for me she had a cancellation, so in 45 mins I was hoping to transform myself into this model from the JCrew magazine. Well, there is only so much she can do, so I DID get the hair just minus the face and skinny long body. But beggar’s can’t be choosers right! So here’s to my first {ooa} of this post …a new do! I literally brought the magazine in and Ashlee nailed it! I told her I would blog about her so PLEASE go and try her out! I am SUPER particular about my hair and totally trust her skills. Also, just for the record photographers, I had to shoot this with my 50mm at 1.2 using my * button while holding it myself! Let’s just say quite a few made me look like a complete psycho…no joke. You know you have been out of the loop for a while when you take a pic of yourself and you do not recognize yourself! Let’s just say with those conditions this is the best I could get! hahah

Second on my {ooa} is my snuggle bug who had snuck out the front door behind me only to hide here and not think that I see him! ha

Third on my {ooa} is waiting on the driveway to watch him coming home after being away a week straight!!! BLISS

Fourth is seeing the pups excited to see their Pau!

Fifth is the first day that I proudly put on my favorite pair of sweats that come from my Hubby’s college. PLUS, this means it has finally cooled off! Woohoo

Last, but not least is the yearly purchase I make of Glade apple cinnamon candles that seriously ALWAYS put my mind and body at ease! I really love these and burn them ALL winter long. They remind me of home…and home is where I am in life! Thanks to everyone who supports me and what I love to do! Here’s to fall, new do’s, snuggle bugs, a best friend to love and live with, puppies, sweats, cool days and LIFE!
