{ooa} gifts | personal

While I edit and get my last wedding of the season ready to blog I thought an {ooa} would be fitting.  I have been meaning to blog about these for a while now but was just too busy. These were gifts that were given to me just because, for Christmas and for a reason! This first one is a local author Julie Poplawski. I met her during the shoot for Misty’s Vintage trunk show and she came back a few hours later to give me this…her book “Fill your Cup”. You can purchase it here. This book is a great short read on weight loss and a happier, easier way to manage your weight! I love the quote in chapter one!

This next one was for Christmas! My friend Kathy designs and makes these “Cute as a Button” custom flip flops for any occasion. Brides a PERFECT gift for your bridesmaids and for you and your feet around dancing time! Contact Kathy at 602.525.5258, and tell her I sent you:) Thanks Kathy for the comfy and adorable flip flops!

This next gift was one I purchased and REALLY wanted my bride to sign, which she was happy to:) I shot Dr. Connie’s “Celebration of Marriage” event in November and it was an AMAZING day! Not only were the details unreal but the Bride and Groom, John, were remarkable people. Anyway, I bought this book that Dr. Connie wrote called ” The White House Doctor” to have her sign it the day of. She very graciously accepted and wrote this awesome note in the front of my book. To purchase it click here.

I am currently reading this interesting but funny book and if this first line does not get you interested I am not sure what will! As a side note, the first line is just humor… and the rest is history!

Thanks so much to my awesome clients and friends for the beautiful gifts and memories!

much love.katina
