Usually I book a year out. But with that being said send me your date and maybe you will get lucky! After you decide to book I will follow up with a contract and 1/2 of the collection fee is due to confirm.
How far in advance do I need to book you as my photographer?

I take limited weddings to maintain a fresh and creative artistic documentation of your wedding day. This is not just my job but it is very personal to me to create beautiful images for your heirloom!
Also, I kind of like my family so balance is something I always strive for.
How may weddings do you shoot?

I know traditionally, in the old days, you wait until you walk down the aisle. But since we all are planning our "I Do's" around sunset we need light to get those ethereal images. To be honest, a first look is who the whole day is suppose to be about, you and your love. Also, you don't want to miss your entire cocktail hour do you?

First look or no first look?
The venue coordinator has her hands full of other tasks to make sure the day runs smoothly and has no time for the finer details. A wedding planner has so much more experience than the first time bride. There is a flow to your wedding day and when it is planned perfect everyone is stress free and can enjoy! We usually work together in regards to the timeline and making sure the photo aspect and timing is well planned.

Do you work with weddings planners and if so, do you think they are important to hire?
I always say your day, your rules. So there is no such thing as the perfect timeline, just YOUR perfect timeline.

What do you think is the perfect timeline?
I would classify my style in a few different words. Authentic, timeless and ethereal.
I am a little more photojournalistic and less traditional. I love to let the day unfold naturally because truly my one goal is for you to look back at an image and remember what you felt at that VERY moment! I may shed a few tears at the toasts, but I promise my team is fun as well, so prepare for some good laughs!

What is your style of photography and what sets you apart from other photographers?
I always tell clients not to worry about the technical aspect but to more so visualize if you can picture yourself in my images! With that being said I shoot mostly all digital.

What equipment do you photograph with?
I really wish I could give you some beautiful story that starts of by “every since I was a little girl I had a camera in my hands” but that is NOT my story. My Husband bought me a camera as a wedding gift and Katina Patriquin Photography was born! I truly believe when you find the spot where you belong you hit the ground running, and that is exactly what I did and have never looked back!

How did you get into photography?
Absolutely! I love the chance to customize a package that fits your needs. Usually I set up a phone call and get to know all my clients to insure we both are a good fit for a beautiful outcome!
Collections can range in pricing depending on location hours, days etc. For local weddings the wedding coverage starts at $6500. Reach out to me here.

We love your work, how much do you charge for wedding day coverage and can you customize a package?
Depending on the season typically your gallery is delivered within 8-10 weeks. Then you will receive an online showcase and professional lab for you to view, order and download.

After the wedding how long do the images take to edit and when can we expect them? Also, what is the process of how we view them?
That depends on the time I am contracted to photograph. But a general wedding of 8 hrs can usually yield 800-1000 edited images. The more hours I am there obviously the more images in your gallery!

How many images are delivered?
It is quite easy! You, friends and family can purchase directly through the gallery. They offer a variety of products!

How do I purchase prints and products?

How do I book Katina Patriquin for my day?
Yes, I am a firm believer that even though I document the day it is still YOUR story! Through the online gallery you can create a folder of the images you want in your album. Usually 80-100 are included in pricing.

If I purchase an album how does the design process work and do I get to pick the images for my album?
Yes I do! They act as my second shooter when I physically cannot be two places at once and assists me as well! They are skilled photographers and also a great asset to my team and success!

Do you have an assistant/2nd shooter that comes to the wedding as well?
Yes, all delivered digital files are included in all collections. I recommend loading them on several computers and also storing a flash drive in a safe spot. As far as printing them...you get what you pay for so I always recommend a professional lab.

Are the digital downloads included and how do I receive them?
I do ask you for a list of people and groupings for family portraits. It makes the process go smooth an enjoyable! As far as for "Pinterest shots" I always say to brides I want to photograph YOUR day and not duplicate anothers. That is the beauty in planning your day and seeing it unfold from behind my lens!

Do you accept or work off of a "shot list"?
You can always add more hours for an additional fee. I customize collections to fit your day!

What if we need more hours then contracted?
Engagement sessions allows me to get familiar with your personalities and see the love you share together. The session is 1-1.5 hours and 2 wardrobe changes. I have several locations but I really like to brainstorm with you to pick a unique spot. For the destination couples that cannot travel for the session we can always customize with additional hour or perhaps some fun drone shots on your day - venue, weather and FAA permitted of course!

If the collection I invest in comes with an engagement session what can I expect?
Yes! I can provide that certificate to your venue if they require it.

Do you have insurance?
I do, in fact this summer I will be heading to Italy and France for some beautiful events! I spend most my time between the Central Coast of California and Arizona. I love to travel and get inspired by new places!

Do you photograph destination weddings?
On your wedding day when I arrive I ask that you have all your details that you want photographed together in a container. Dress, rings, shoes, stationary suite and other personal items. Ask the florist for some clippings as well! Keep in mind where you get ready as well and try for a bright and clean aesthetic.

What should I expect when you arrive?
I always say that photography is very subjective….there is no right or wrong the only true judgment is how it makes you feel. With that being said two things come to mind. First, make sure you are comfortable with the photographer if not it will show in your photos and the second is something I did for my wedding …..STOP take a few seconds, take a deep breathe and look around! Make a conscious decision to do this because the day goes so fast …and if for one moment you could stop time…this would be the time!
