Megan & Philip | wedding

This beautiful couple kicked off my wedding season at the stunning Sanctuary Resort in Paradise Valley a few weeks ago! I had met Megan last year to discuss their wedding and instantly knew we were going to get along;) I didn’t have a chance to meet Philip until the day of the wedding but I can see why these two fell in love! They compliment each other in ways that are admirable and sweet all at once. The day started with Megan getting her makeup done. I thought her makeup artist tattoo was very fitting, don’t you think?

One of my favorite things to shoot are all the details of the day. And what better detail than her shoes!!!

The gorgeous Bride

This may go down as one of my favorite images! The juxtapose of a Marine’s strength with the delicacy of the rings that represent love!

The beautiful flowers were by Wild Child Floral!

Megan had some very special momentos…three generations of wedding rings, a hanky and a picture of her and her late Grandfather.

Ok Ladies, I think we will all agree there is nothing quit like a man in uniform! What a beautiful couple!

Then we traveled to St Francis Xavier for their ceremony.

I loved this photo…Philip kept talking to her until finally this happened! ha

Husband & Wife

Then for the sword ceremony;) Philip peeked his head out to see if they were ready!

Then we headed back to the Sanctuary for the reception and some portraits. Since they got married earlier in the day we had enough time to do the portraits after!

The stunning cake was once again a masterpiece by Classic Cakes and Confections!

The toasts were beautiful and a bit emotional as well!!! Love that!

Thanks you so much to Megan & Philip for allowing me to capture one of the most important days of your lives! I wish you the best and hope to hear from you when the little ones come around;)

Also, a special thanks to the Sanctuary for always being accommodating and a dream to work with, all the vendors Mark Sanchez for the amazing music and of course to my second shooter Nick Tillinghast for always being a joy to work with!
